TrustedMail is just £60.00 per domain, per year. Once activated all mail for the domain will be scanned and junk mail processed into a single quarantine mailbox. Additional quarantine boxes are available on a tiered scale:

2->5 mailboxes, £5.00 each.

6->15 mailboxes, £4.50 each.

16+, £3.75 each.

 
TrustedMail uses Bayesian filter algorithms, which learn new types and techniques of junk mail, and constantly updates it's virus definitions so you don't have to pay a penny extra for regular upgrades to maintain your security, as with some other spam services.

TrustedMail Pricing

TrustedMail is priced at GBP60 per domain, per year. For this basic price all mail for the selected domain is configured to pass through the TrustedMail scanner and any virus-infected or junk mail that is found is processed into a single quarantine mailbox.

In addition to this single quarantine mailbox, additional mailboxes can be purchased to all individual email addresses to have their own unique quarantine area and mail filters. The cost of additional mail boxes is charged on a tiered scale according to the volume of mailboxes and is also a yearly charge. The additional mailboxes are assigned to a specific domain, they are non-transferable between domains and the tiered scale applies to mailboxes associated with each domain.

 

All charges are payable up front. Additional mailboxes added part way through a year will be renewed at the renewal date of the parent domain.

The TrustedMail Filters

Custom Filters
Custom Filters are the first filters that an email will have to pass through and are configurable by the end user. It is these filters that allow each user to tailor the scanner to their individual requirements and are configured via a web interface as part of the Designer Servers ControlCentre.

There are 3 types of custom filters that the user can configure:

• White-lists
  By adding a domain or an email address to the white-list you can ensure that all mail received for these will automatically be passed and will not be subject to any further spam checks. For added security though they will be passed through the virus scanner. The white-list for each quarantine area is managed via the DSVR ControlCentre allowing you to add/remove domains and addresses as required.
• Black-lists
  If you add a domain or an address to the black-list then any email received for these will automatically be denied and marked as junk mail and not be passed though any further filters. Again, configuration of each user's black-list is made via the DSVR ControlCentre.
• Realtime Blackhole Lists (RBLs)
  RBLs allow filtering to be done on a connection IP basis. If a connecting mail server or client attempts to send messages to your domain but is list in an RBL then the email is immediately rejected, it will not pass through any further filters and will not be sent to the quarantine area. The option of enabling/disabling the use of RBLs is configurable. DSVR maintain which RBLs are used in conjunction with this filter.

Spam Filter
The Spam Filters are the main workhorse in detecting and isolating junk email. Trusted Mail utilises the latest techniques in spam detection to provide a powerful tool against the growing problem of unsolicited email. DSVR actively manage and maintain the filters used by TM to adapt to the varying techniques spammers employ. Along with bayesian style filters, our filters actively learn to improve their spam detecting abilities, the Trusted Mail filtering service draws on a range of collaborative Internet resources to assist in the rapid identification and blocking of sources of spam.

Virus Filter
DSVR in conjunction with virus security experts Kaspersky Labs have developed a virus scanning filter to provide maximum protection against the widest possible range of email viruses, worms and trojans. The DSVR virus scanners are updated every 10 minutes with the latest virus IDs supplied by Kaspersky Labs to ensure protection against even the most newly emerging virus threats.

The handling of Infected mail is fully configurable and can include quarantining, rejection, stripping of infected attachments and warning notifications to sender, recipient and administrator. The advanced virus engine is even capable of disinfecting certain attachments allowing them to be safely delivered to their intended recipient.
